Components of Diesel Generator Set

Diesel Generator Set is machince to generator electricty for home use or Industrial use,as usual,they are assembled by below parts.

1,Power System:Diesel Engine is a usual power system in Generator Set,Diesel engine (also known as a compression-ignition engine) is an internal combustion engine that uses the heat of compression to initiate ignition and burn the fuel that has been injected into the combustion chamber.There are too many engine brands in the market,for example:Caterpillar,Cummins,Perkins,Volvo Penta,Deutz,MTU,Doosan,Daewoo,Yuchai,Shangchai etc.

2,Electricity Generation system:An alternator is an electrical generator that converts mechanical energy to electrical energy in the form of alternating current. For reasons of cost and simplicity, most alternators use a rotating magnetic field with a stationary armature,but occasionally, a rotating armature is used with a stationary magnetic field;or a linear alternator is used.Common brands of brushless alternators have Stamford,Marathon,Leroysomer,Farrdy,Engga,Kaijieli etc.

3,Cooling system:A cooling system to bring down the temperature of diesel engine,there are two kinds of cooling system exsit,one is aircooled system,other is watercooled system.Aircooled system use the cold air to cool down the engine,while watercooled system use a radiator and fans to cool down the engine,there is other function of watercooled system is to cool and compress the hot air before they flow to Turbo,so the engine can accept more air to make bigger power.

4,Control System:A control panel is used widly in control system,Digital controller is the most important part in the control panel,it can monitor and control the diesel engien and AC alternator,meanwhile,it have some protectional functions against High or Low speed,High or Low temperature,High or Low Voltage etc.The common brands of digital controller in the market is Deepsea,ComAp,Harsen,Smartgen etc.

5,Shock mitigation system:According to the size of our diesel generator,we will equip 4-8 pieces of shock pads under our diesel generator.

6,Electric Output System:this part will stay closed with the alternator,a air break switch and circuit breaker will be used in this part,they can protect the alternator if the current is over big,the common brands are DELIXI,PEOPLE,ABB,CHINT,CHANGAN etc.

Besides above 6 main parts of Diesel Generator Set,there are some optional parts of the diesel generator set,they are Soundproof Enclosure;4 Wheels Trailer;Automatic Transfer System;Parallel Synchronizing System;Heat system;Fuel Tank etc.
