How to run a Generator in first time?

 It may difficult for a new man to start a generator set in the first time,especially he didn't get any trained,Although we will offer our customers Formal Manual of Diesel Generator Set,but simple operating instruction is easier to understand,Please check it below:

Before Start the Generator:

1,Check the availability of lube first. Specific Method (Open the oil rule, check the oil level get the scale mark or not).

2,Check the cooling liquid, Specific Method(Open the radiator cap on the top of tank, check the availability of antifreeze solution by eyes, fill in when the short happens)

3,Check the availability of fuel, Specific Method(Open the cap of fuel tank, check the fuel by eyes or oil level equipment, fill in when the short happens).

4,Check the voltage of battery and the display in the main control panel, the standard voltage is bigger than 24V.

Steps of start and Stop Generator Set:

1,Steps of normal Generator set(Never manual start compulsively when the controller is regular)

1.1.Turn on the start-key to open the main operative screen.

1.2.Turn to “Auto” key

1.3.Press the start button on the control panel(the first button from right ), the genset will reach rated speed automatic after starting.

1.4.Open the power transmission switch to output electricity.

2,Steps of normal Generator set stop.

2.1.Turn off the power transmission switch first.

2.2.Press the stop button on the control panel(The first button from left ).

2.3.Turn off the switch of power, extract the key.

3,Steps of Automatic Type Generator(with ATS) Start

3.1.Turn to “Auto” key, and press the button “AUTO”.

3.2.When the city power lost,the generator could start automatically.

4,Steps of Automatic Type Generator(With ATS) Stop

When the city power come back, the generator could stop automatically.

5,Manual start compulsively(Only when the controller doesn’t work).

5.1.Turn the key of “High and Low speed” into low speed.

5.2.Turn on the main control panel by key.

5.3.Turn the switch of “Auto/Manual” into “Manual”.

5.4.Turn on the generator by key.

5.5.After turn on the unit, idling 2-3 minutes.

5.6.Turn the switch “High and Low speed” into “High speed”, waiting for the voltage up to 400V and the frequency to 50HZ.

5.7.Open the power transmission switch to output electricity.

6,Steps of Manual stop

6.1.Turn off the power transmission switch first.

6.2.Turn the switch “High and Low speed” into “Low speed”.

6.3.After idling 2-3 minutes, stop the unit.

6.4.Turn off the switch of power, extract the key.

Attentions:

1.1.When the generator under automatic control,Floating equipment will be charged automatically.

1.2.When the generator under Manual control,and don’t work for a long time, The battery should be charged, usually 12 hours,before starting generator.

1.3. The generator should be run one time at least in a month(60minutes per time)

1.4.The fuel filter,oil filter and lube must be changed when the generator running first 60th hours.

1.5..The lube should be changed every 250hours then.The lowest standard of oil is CD 15W40. When you change the oil,you should change Oil filter,Fuel filter and Air filter too.

1.6.Should assign someone to manage when start the generator, If leak happens which contains water,oil,air, you need press Stop button immediately 

1.7.When the problems in the generator happens,It should be repaired by factory,never demount and repair by self.

1.8.Record the running time of the generator.
